PACKRAFT ADVENTURE CANADA
Established in late 2020, Packraft Adventure Canada aims to introduce people to the world of packrafting, with a focus on whitewater river trips. In our journey thus far, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting lots of awesome folks who continue to inspire us! We’ve been fortunate to paddle some wild rivers, and through experience gain new insight to make our trips and courses even better. We are dedicated to delivering outstanding wilderness experiences to guests and promoting packrafting in Canada.

Alex Hanes
Alex has been working in the outdoors for more than 20 years, guiding whitewater canoeing, wilderness canoeing, coastal kayaking trips, and now whitewater packrafting adventure in various parts of Canada.
During a 27 day solo journey in northern Ontario, Alex discovered a love for packrafting. After purchasing his first packraft ‘Peanut’, he decided that these incredible boats needed to be further introduced to the world. Packraft Adventure Canada was created to share the versatility and exhiliration of packrafting with people wanting to experience the most beautiful wilderness rivers in Canada.
“There are very few guiding companies in Canada that offer packrafting trips, so I thought it was time someone filled that niche. Packraft Adventure Canada was born out of a love of wilderness tripping and a desire to introduce others to the joy of packrafting - I love these boats, I’m sure plenty of other folks will too.”
Alex is a certified Wilderness First Responder, Whitewater Rescue Technician, ORCKA Canoe Tripping Instructor and Coastal Kayaking Instructor. His future goals include developing packraft specific certifications and guiding packraft adventures in the far north.

Lyndsay is a Wilderness First Responder, Whitewater Rescue Technician, and certified by ORCKA as a Whitewater Canoe Instructor, Flatwater Canoe Instructor, and Coastal Kayak Instructor.
